	Deborah McQueen writes:
Today our film &amp;quot;Endless Backpack&amp;quot; was featured in the California Independent Film Festival. It was very exciting to see this film on the large screen with an awesome sound system. The power of film and music is extraordinary. Our film stood it&#039;s ground against films with much bigger budgets ($80,000+) which the film makers spent years making. Our film was shot in one day, from 7a.m. to 9.p.m. and cost approximately $400.00 to produce. When you make that comparison it&#039;s even more astonishing. Our day began at 9a.m. with a complimentary breakfast, and signing of autographs, and then the film session began promptly at 10a.m.. All the films featured were excellent and provided both entertainment for families as well as an education into the incredible possibilities in film making. There were computer animated films, stop-clay animations, live acting and other mixed media. We were interviewed by at least two papers while we were there - so if anyone reads about us in the CCT, or Herald will you please bring it to our attention and we can put the article on our website. We were treated very well by the CIFF staff, and were received very well by a large audience at the Vine. The CIFF blocked off the entire morning at the Vine for Family programming and we thought this was an excellent decision. We didn&#039;t have to hop around to other venues or remove the kids when the content wasn&#039;t appropriate. All the films were wonderful and if you missed this event - please try to do it next year. You won&#039;t see films like these anywhere else.</description>

<title>Livermoron Films is now Lumeralis Digital</title>
  <link>http://www.livermoronfilms.com/index.php?name=News&amp;file=article&amp;sid=23</link>
<description>Livermoron Films is now Lumeralis Digital! So what is going on? Why the name change? Did we go crazy? Did we get bought by somebody? NO! Here is the lowdown. We decided the name change to something a little more universal was necessary. Livermoron Films was limited to Livermore, and we wanted to be more available to a more worldwide audience. Also, the word &amp;#147;moron&amp;#148; in the title is a little degrading, and we wanted something a little more professional. So, after a few weeks of brainstorming, Lumeralis was born. The word Lumeralis was created by James Mickle, and comes from the base word &amp;#147;Luma&amp;#148;, which means Light, and in a sense, this is what we do. &amp;#147;We Capture Light Digitally&amp;#148;. Hopefully with the new name, and the new creative talent we have coming, the movies you see here will be even better.
